Executive management
The board of directors has entrusted the operational management of Montea to the executive management.
The executive management consists of the following members:

Jo De Wolf and Jimmy Gysels also qualify as effective leaders in the sense of article 14 of the RREC Act.
The duties of the executive management include:
- formulating proposals to the board of directors concerning the Company’s strategy and its implementation;
- drafting the resolutions to be taken by the board of directors in order to fullfill its duties and providing the necessary information to the board on a timely basis;
- implementing the resolutions of the board of directors;
- operational management of the Company;
- establishing internal controls, notwithstanding the supervisory role of the board of directors, based on what has been approved by the board of directors;
- presenting full, timely, reliable and accurate drafts of the financial statements to the board of directors, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting standards and the Company’s policy;
- making preparations for the publication of the financial statements and other important financial and non-financial information;
- presenting a clear and balanced assessment of the financial position to the board of directors;
- being accountable to the board of directors for the performance of its duties.
The executive management is charged in particular with managing the real estate, advising on and monitoring the financing policy, general human resources management and the human resources policy, preparing all legally required financial and other information and reporting, and providing all required information to the public or to competent authorities.
