Montea to invest €65 million in prime logistics sites in the Port of Antwerp and Brussels, and leases out Beringen site

• Montea to develop state-of-the-art logistics hub of over 55,000 m² in the Port of Antwerp, pre-let on a long-term basis
• Acquisition of a last-mile distribution centre of 32,700 m² in Brussels (Anderlecht), let on a long-term basis to bpost 
• Former Euro Shoe site in Beringen let, six months after acquisition 
• Total investment in Antwerp and Brussels amounts to €65 million, generating an average NIY of 6.6% 

Montea is strengthening its Belgian portfolio at three strategic logistics locations. In the Port of Antwerp, the company will develop a new pre-let logistics hub at a prime port location. In Anderlecht, Montea acquires an urban distribution site which is let to bpost on a long-term basis. In addition, Montea has signed a long-term lease agreement in Beringen, for the former Euro Shoe site acquired at the end of last year. CRG, the group behind the fashion brands JBC, CKS and Mayerline, will centralise their logistics operations on the site.
